Medieval Feast and Blades of Glory Presentation - Wednesday, May 18, 2016
Our grade 4 classes will be having their Medieval Re-enactment day with an interactive Blades of Glory Presentation. Students will also have the opportunity to dress-up in Medieval style clothing and bring in Medieval style food for their feast! It will be an exciting day Insha'Allah!
Raptors' Day and Face Paintings – Wednesday, April 27, 2016
Students are encouraged to dress up in Red or Purple clothing atop their uniforms to support our fellow Toronto Raptors in the playoffs!! Students can also wear their Raptor gear. Our Grade 4's will also have the opportunity to do some face and hand paintings which will be exciting Insha'Allah!
Grade 3 and 4 Bake Sale-Thursday, April 14, 2016
It will be the grade 3 and grade 4 classes turn to contribute to the Bake Sale! It should be a fun day filled with tasty treats.
Royal Ontario Museum- Thursday, March 31, 2016
The students will explore plenty of fascinating exhibits relating to their Social Studies Unit. The student’s particular focus will be on the Ancient Civilizations such as the Ancient Egyptian exhibit and the Medieval exhibit. The students may also explore the biodiversity, animal exhibit in relation to our past Science Units. It will be a exciting day for exploration Insha'Allah.
Akhlaaq Assembly- Friday, December 4, 2015
Students are preparing to organize their very own Akhlaaq Assembly on December 4, 2015. Students will promote caring and self-discipline in our community of learners, centered on the theme of "I Can... Because I CARE." Through creative displays, poetry, and presentations, our class hopes to inspire students to take the initiative to make a positive difference and leave a lasting impact around them.
Ontario Science Center- Wednesday, November 4, 2015
Students will be exploring exhibits, be involved in an “Action Earth” Workshop and have the opportunity to watch an IMAX film on Humpback Whales. Inshallah it will be a day to remember!
Eid Party and Jumping Castles – Tuesday, September 29, 2015
Students are encouraged to dress up in their Islamic Eid-Outfits for this lively day!
Each class will have an opportunity to play with the jumping castles as part of our Eid Celebration.
Hajj Re-enactment – Tuesday, September 22, 2015
On this eventful day students will have a great opportunity to go through a hajj re-enactment. They can even wear Hajj-inspired clothes during the re-enactment, (such as thobes, jubbas and abayas).
